PINE ACRES YOUTH CAMP
In 1959 a group of eight friends saw a need for a summer camp that would share the Gospel of
Jesus with youth in the Treasure Valley. Those eight incorporated Pine Acres Camp to
“organize, operate, and maintain a youth camp…for spiritual, physical, mental, religious
instructions and social/recreational opportunities for children and youths.” For over 60 years
Pine Acres Youth Camp has worked to continue the goals of our founders.
The heart of those that started Pine Acres Youth Camp was to create a family atmosphere, with daily devotions, services, games, and meals eaten as a family, and we have worked hard to continue to maintain that focus. Because of the vision set forward by our founders, Pine Acres Youth Camp has created relationships across the Northwest that have lasted lifetimes, and it would be nearly impossible to count the lives that have been impacted through our one week youth camp each summer. For the last 55 plus years, Pine Acres Youth Camp has been blessed to call the Cascade Lake 4-H Camp home. With the beautiful scenery of Donnelly, Idaho as a backdrop, and Jesus as the focus, Pine Acres Youth Camp offers a multitude of fun activities for our campers to come closer to the Lord, and to one another. Our heart is that every person that enters the camp, removed from distractions of their everyday lives, will have an encounter with Jesus, and that their life will forever be changed. We strive to make Pine Acres Camp as affordable as possible, and in order to reach as many lives as we can, only about a third of the cost of camp is covered by camper fees, the rest comes from our gracious donors who help make the camp a reality each year. Our camp is run entirely by volunteers each year, who give up a week of their summer to help reach the young people who participate in camp. We would not be able to have this impact without those who make it all possible.
